Ligue 1 Preview: Must-win for Marseille as PSG wait

Marseille must beat Toulouse on Saturday to delay Paris Saint-Germain s Ligue 1 title celebrations.

PSG s 19-year wait to be crowned domestic champions will come to an end if Marseille lose or if the capital club are victorious against Lyon on Sunday.
Carlo Ancelotti s side, unbeaten in eight, have not been afforded an easy ride by Elie Baup s outfit, who are on a nine-match unbeaten run and have conceded just two goals in that time.
They have refused to give up hope of reclaiming the prize they last earned in 2010 and the visit of mid-table Toulouse will hold no fear for them.
Third-placed Lyon have their own incentive for spoiling PSG s party, with Nice and Saint-Etienne, both playing Sunday, coveting their UEFA Champions League qualifying spot.
Nice head to relegation-threatened Evian as the hosts look to record a first win in four matches to move out of the bottom three, while Saint-Etienne will be hoping to make it three defeats in a row for Lorient.
Saturday s fixtures include a crunch match for Nancy, who could take a huge step towards safety with an away victory over a Bordeaux side who have drawn their last three games.
Second-bottom Troyes have won two of their last three to revive their survival hopes when only a few weeks ago they appeared to be doomed. They head to Ajaccio with a league double over their 15th-placed opponents in mind.
Sochaux s survival instincts have also kicked in and a run of just one defeat in seven matches has taken them to the brink of safety. Victory away to Brest and defeat for Evian would confirm it.
Defending champions Montpellier face an out of sorts Bastia at the Stade de la Mosson, while Valenciennes welcome Rennes with a view to leapfrogging them in the standings.
On Friday, UEFA Europa League hopefuls Lille take on Reims, who have a five-point cushion over the relegation zone.
